Napoli midfielder Kevin de Bruyne suffered a serious injury while taking a penalty in the match against Inter. The Belgian footballer faced difficulties leaving the field and received assistance.

On Monday, an official statement about de Bruyne’s condition was published on the Naples club’s official website. According to the club, examination revealed a serious tear in the biceps femoris muscle of his right thigh.

Kevin has already started his rehabilitation program, but the 34-year-old’s return date is still unknown. As a reminder, Napoli defeated Inter 3-1.
