PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts about his team's right-back Achraf Hakimi. The 26-year-old Moroccan defender has been included in the list of nominees for the African Footballer of the Year award.
"Undoubtedly, Achraf can win Africa's 'Ballon d'Or'. He is the best right-back in the world.
That is why we did not buy another player for his position – it simply does not make sense to spend money on a substitute player who would only play three games throughout the season. Hakimi is a true leader not only on the field but also in the dressing room," Enrique said at a press conference.
On Saturday, the Parisians will play away against Brest in Ligue 1. The match will start at 18:00 Moscow time.
