Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented on the team's condition ahead of the fourth round of the League Cup. The Spanish specialist spoke about the three main players who interested the fans - Erling Haaland, Rodri, and Abdukodir Khusanov.
"I didn't see Erling Haaland today. He has a minor injury to his leg. In the afternoon session, we will assess his condition and see how he feels. There's no clarity yet, but we're approaching it cautiously," Guardiola said at a press conference.
At the same time, he announced that Abdukodir Khusanov has fully recovered from his injury. "Abdukodir Khusanov is fully ready. He is in full training with the team and will play tomorrow. Even if it's just a few minutes, we'll see him on the field," the coach emphasized.
Speaking of Rodri, Pep mentioned that he is still in the recovery process. "Rodri hasn't recovered yet, he's doing special recovery exercises. His recovery was slightly longer than expected, but he will be with the team in the coming days," Guardiola said.
For information, Manchester City will play away against Swansea City in the fourth round of the League Cup. The match kicks off at 00:45 on October 29th.
