
Young athletes from Uzbekistan continue to successfully participate in the III Youth Asian Games, which are taking place in the capital of Bahrain, Manama. This time too, the wrestlers of our country achieved new victories on the stage of the international competition.
In the freestyle wrestling competitions, our young wrestlers once again demonstrated their skills and willpower. They not only defeated their opponents, but also demonstrated the strength and potential of the Uzbek kurash school to all of Asia.
In the -51 kg weight category, Ulugbek Rashidov won the competition, defeating his Iranian opponent in a very strong and uncompromising struggle. With this victory, he not only became known as the strongest wrestler in his category, but also secured another gold medal for Uzbekistan.
The victory flag was also raised high in the girls' competitions. In the final of the -40 kg weight category, Mukhlisa Masharipova secured a very convincing victory against her Japanese opponent and earned the prestigious title of champion. His speed in wrestling and tactical thinking were especially recognized by many specialists.
According to the organizers and observers of the competition, the Uzbek wrestlers performed at a high technical level. They demonstrated accuracy, decisiveness, and a fighting spirit in every action.
Both victories further increased the number of medals in the Uzbekistan team's record, and our delegation maintains a high position in the overall team rankings.
Such achievements of the younger generation are not only the result of competitions, but also an important indicator of the level of sports potential of our country in the future.
The victories of young Uzbek wrestlers in Bahrain once again proved that with will, labor, and faith, it is possible to conquer all peaks.
