"Juventus" officially announced on Thursday that Luciano Spalletti has been appointed as the team's head coach. The 66-year-old specialist signed a contract with the Turin club until the end of the current season.
According to Sky Sport, the contract does not include an automatic extension clause in the event of Champions League qualification. While such a clause exists in the agreement, it is not mandatory – the parties may end their collaboration in the summer of 2026, even if the team qualifies for the prestigious European tournament.
It should be recalled that Luciano Spalletti resigned as the head coach of the Italian national team in June. He had served in that role for about two years.
