"Chelsea" is the leader in red cards

London's "Chelsea" club has become the leader by a large margin in red cards in the English championship, taking into account all competitions. This was reported based on data from the Transfermarkt portal.

In the current season, "Chelsea" has received 5 red cards in a total of 14 matches – 3 of them in the championship, and the remaining 2 in other tournaments. The most recent case occurred in the League Cup 1/8 finals against "Wolverhampton" (4:3).

In that match, Liam Delap’s sending off led to head coach Enzo Maresca’s dissatisfaction. For comparison, "Liverpool" has received only 2 red cards this season, while another 8 clubs ("Bournemouth", "Manchester United", "Sunderland", "West Ham", "Burnley", "Wolverhampton", "Aston Villa" and "Newcastle") have been limited to just one red card each.
