The Mönchengladbach "Borussia" team, which was at the bottom of the German championship, claimed their first three points of the season by achieving a resounding victory away against "St. Pauli". In the 15th minute of the match, Haris Tabakovic took advantage of a mistake by the home team's goalkeeper and opened the scoring.
The VAR system assisted the referee in confirming the goal, as no foul was detected in the attack. Near the end of the first half, in the 40th minute, the combination between Florian Neuhaus and Tabakovic resulted in another goal — 0:2.
In the second half, Tabakovic had several more chances, but the goalkeeper was alert. In the 75th minute, the Bosnian player provided a goal assist to Suto Matino instead of scoring himself, making it 0:3.
In the 80th minute, Oskar Fraulo scored the fourth goal for the visitors. This victory gave "Borussia" the opportunity to climb a little higher from the bottom of the league table.
