The 3rd round of the Uzbekistan Cup has kicked off. In a group stage match, Sogdiana faced Olimpik-MobiUz in Zomin, securing a 3-1 comeback victory.
The visitors started the match actively. In the 21st minute, Muhammadali Zohidov gave Olimpik-MobiUz the lead. Although the first half ended with that score, the Jizzakh side bounced back after the break.
In the 60th minute, Sardor Hoshimov converted a penalty to level the score. Late in the game, Sogdiana increased the pressure and achieved the desired result. In the 88th minute, Umid Sultonov scored his team's second goal. In the 90+3rd minute, Inomjon Abdumajidov found the net once more to seal the match — 3-1.
In another match, Mashal played against Respublika FA in Tashkent and won 2-0. For the 'Gasmen', Humoyun Murtazoyev opened the scoring in the 66th minute. In the 87th minute, Suhrobjon Parmonqulov scored the second goal, ensuring a confident victory for his team.
This result is of special significance for Mashal. The team secured their first win of the season and received an important psychological boost.
Thus, Sogdiana, led by Ulugbek Bakayev, strengthened their lead in Group C with 9 points. The Jizzakh side is currently performing confidently in the cup matches.
