Liverpool narrowly defeated Aston Villa

Having lost six of their last seven games, Liverpool hosted Aston Villa on Saturday. Aston Villa, on the contrary, are in good form and are capable of picking up points against the "Reds".

Due to a deflection, the goalkeeper made a mistake and the ball went into the net — 2:0. In the remaining part of the match, Aston Villa had several good chances, but Liverpool's goalkeeper kept a "clean sheet".

This was not an easy but a very important victory for the "Reds". The team is now sharing second place with Bournemouth, and the gap with the leading team is seven points.
