Bi-Jay Penn, the legendary fighter who won the UFC championship in two weight categories, has once again caught the attention of law enforcement. The 45-year-old former athlete was arrested by police in Hawaii on November 4th, according to MMA Fighting.
According to police, Penn is charged with a third-degree offense. An investigation has been launched into the incident, and the former champion has been temporarily released on bail of $1,000.
According to the statement, the victim contacted the police, stating that Penn had repeatedly punched him with fists and kicks, inflicting bodily harm. After this incident, the victim sought medical assistance and officially filed a complaint with the police. The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. on Lehua Street in the city of Hilo. Officers arrested Penn without resistance.
This is not the first time for a warrior. According to reports, in 2025 alone, BJ Penn was arrested for the sixth time. Earlier in May, he claimed that his "real family" had been replaced by the US government and called his current relatives "fake people."
