According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association, female referees are regularly participating in Uzbekistan Super League matches. Specifically, in the 28th round of matches, female referees were involved in several games.
Experienced referee Kristina Sereda officiated as the AVAR referee in the AGMK – Navbahor game, while young referee Nasibabonu Toshmuhamedova participated as the AVAR referee in the Nasaf – Mash’al game. In today's Surxon – Sho'rtan match, for the first time in the 2025 season, female referees will act as assistant referees: Kristina Sereda and Zilola Rahmatova as assistant referees, Gulshoda Saytkulova as the reserve referee, and Dildora Rustamova as the AVAR referee.
This process is being considered an important step towards the participation and professional development of female referees in Super League matches.
