Manchester United targets star defender

Defender Nico Schlotterbeck, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, has been added to Manchester United's transfer list. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the "Red Devils" are among the leading contenders to sign the German national team's central defender.

Additionally, Liverpool is also interested in signing the 25-year-old player. Furthermore, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are closely monitoring the situation.

According to specialists from the Transfermarkt portal, Nico Schlotterbeck's transfer value is estimated at 40 million euros. The defender's current contract with Borussia Dortmund is valid until mid-2027; however, the club's management is reportedly planning to extend this deal in the near future.
