Laporta Responds to Criticism Regarding Yamal

Lamin Yamal was removed from the Spain national team due to the need for treatment related to an issue in the hip area. Representatives of the federation and the national team accused FC Barcelona of failing to inform them about Yamal's treatment in a timely manner.

The president of the Catalonian club, Joan Laporta, responded to these criticisms. "We informed the federation immediately after receiving the conclusion from the doctor who examined Yamal.

Our medical staff promptly conveyed this information to the federation's doctors—that is exactly what happened. We do not seek any disputes.

The specialist arrived on Monday, made the diagnosis, and prescribed the treatment—everything happened in that sequence. Barcelona wants Yamal to be in the best possible sporting condition.
