38-year-old Lionel Messi continues to dominate the list of top scorers in the history of the Argentina national team. On Friday, he scored yet another goal in a friendly match against Angola, bringing his total goals for the "Albiceleste" to 115.
Interestingly, Messi has scored 56 of those goals after the age of 30, which is more than the career total of Argentina's second-highest scorer, Gabriel Batistuta, who scored 55 goals during his entire career. In total, Lionel Messi has made 196 appearances for his national team.
His debut took place in August 2005. The upcoming World Cup could potentially be Messi's sixth tournament in his illustrious career.
