The head coach of the Armenian national football team, Yegishe Melikyan, shared his thoughts on the team's final match in the World Cup qualification. According to him, the team will face Portugal on November 16.
The match will kick off at 5:00 PM Moscow time. "My team and I feel the responsibility and pressure of defending our country.
Portugal is a very strong opponent, but we cannot remain passive; we must fight for a result. We have losses, but we are ready to fight," Melikyan said in an interview with news.am.
Melikyan also highlighted the immense potential of the Portugal national team. According to him, Cristiano Ronaldo not playing would only pave the way for another strong player to emerge.
Currently, Portugal leads the group with 10 points, followed by Hungary with 8 points, Ireland with 7 points, and Armenia with 3 points.
