Yesterday, the "Andijan" club officially announced the unexpected news - the agreement with the team's head coach Maxim Shatskikh was canceled. This was reported by the club's press service.
According to reports, Shatskikh was appointed head coach on May 13th of this year. His contract was due to expire on December 31st, but the club's management and the specialist decided to terminate the agreement prematurely by mutual agreement.
Recognizing Shatskikh's six-month performance, the club's management highlighted his work and efforts. It was noted that the coach tried to improve the team and systematically develop the game.
Shatskikh led the team in 24 official matches as head coach. In these matches, Andijan won 5 times, drew 9 times, and lost 10 times. At the same time, it is noteworthy that in the 2nd stage of the AFC Champions League, the team kept its goalless streak in 4 matches.
Following the coach's departure, the team was temporarily transferred to Akmal Shorahmedov. He will prepare the team for the next match, which will take place on November 21 at the "Bobur Arena" against "Khorezm."
At the end of his statement, the club thanked Shatskikh and wished him success in his future career. Fans are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the new stage in the team.
