PSG President: Ashraf Hakimi Is One of the Best in the World

PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi shared his thoughts on the team's defender Achraf Hakimi. The 27-year-old Moroccan footballer is a contender for the African Player of the Year award after an excellent season with PSG.

"I consider Hakimi one of the best football players in the world. He is Africa's best footballer and achieved unprecedented success last season.

Achraf is a PSG leader and the captain of Morocco's national team. I am immensely proud of him," said Al-Khelaifi during the award ceremony.

Last year, Achraf Hakimi finished second in the African "Ballon d'Or" award, losing out to Ademola Lookman. PSG concluded the 2024/25 season as champions in the UEFA Champions League and all domestic competitions in France.
