Courtois: Ancelotti Was Like a Father, Alonso Is Different


The goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, compared former coach Carlo Ancelotti with the current head coach Xabi Alonso. The 66-year-old Italian left the team at the end of May.

His position was taken over by the 43-year-old Spanish coach at the beginning of June. "Ancelotti was like a father to us, but everything is different with Alonso.
