Zakharyan contributes to Real Sociedad's victory

As part of Round 13 of La Liga, Real Sociedad played an away match against Osasuna. In the 42nd minute, following a corner kick, Alejandro Catena scored with a header to put Osasuna ahead — 1:0.

The visitors quickly equalized. A deflection led to Brais Mendes finding the net, leveling the score at 1:1.

In the 59th minute, Real Sociedad’s forward Gonçalo Guedes delivered a brilliant strike, giving his team the lead — 1:2. Shortly thereafter, Arsen Zakharyan was substituted for Ander Barrenetxea.

The substitute player created two dangerous chances in the game. While his first attempt was off target, in the 82nd minute he lofted the ball over the goalkeeper, extending the lead to 1:3.

In the final moments of the match, Osasuna player Íñigo Argbide received a red card for a rough challenge and was sent off. Following this game, Osasuna remains just one point above the relegation zone, while Real Sociedad is sharing ninth place in the league table.
