Bayern Munich midfielder Lennart Carl has commented on comparisons made between him and Argentine football legend, Inter Miami player Lionel Messi. “Messi is at the top; I still have a long way to go.
Messi is my ideal. I cannot compare myself to Messi; it’s a completely different level," Carl said in an interview with *Bild*.
The 17-year-old footballer added that if he continues to improve his skills, he may eventually reach Messi's level. This season, Lennart Carl has played in 15 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.
