Atletico Defeats Getafe with an Own Goal

In the 13th round of La Liga, Atlético Madrid faced Getafe in an away match. In the opening minutes, Atlético's players earned a corner from the left wing.

Koke delivered a cross to the far post, where Nicolas Gonzalez headed the ball, but Getafe's goalkeeper made a remarkable save to keep his team from conceding. In the second half, Getafe's players won a corner kick from the left wing.

Luis Milla's cross was cleared by Atlético's defenders. The ball fell to Mauro Arambarri, who aimed for the bottom-right corner, but Nicolas Gonzalez stopped the attempt.

Later, Giacomo Raspadori received the ball on the right wing, moved toward the center, and took a shot from 22 meters aimed at the far bottom corner, but once again, the goalkeeper showcased his skills. In the 83rd minute, Nahuel Molina made a cross into the penalty area from the right wing.

Giacomo Raspadori volleyed the ball into the center. In an attempt to outmaneuver Antoine Griezmann, Getafe defender Domingos Duarte inadvertently directed the ball into his own net – 0–1.

Thanks to this victory, Atlético climbed to fourth place, trailing the leading pair by three points. Getafe remained in seventh place.
