We are ready to play in Russia without any issues," he said during an interview with Sport24. The official emphasized that Angola is currently in the process of seeking new opponents and is awaiting an official invitation from the Russian national team.
It should be noted that Angola did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup. During the qualification stage, they finished fourth in Group D, scoring 12 points in 10 matches.
The teams from Libya, Cameroon, and Cape Verde ranked higher than Angola in the group.
