Former head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Timur Kapadze, appeared as a special guest on one of the local television programs and openly commented on the rumors and personal feelings that arose around his visit to Indonesia.
First of all, it was noted that, despite the fact that he arrived in Indonesia two days ago, he aroused great interest among the country's mass media, sports community, and social networks. He was asked about the rapid spread of various rumors, unofficial reports, and fakes, as well as the perception of public pressure on Kapadze. In reality, the head coach came to relax and communicate with people.
Kapadze answered these questions sincerely. He noted that he had been visiting Indonesia for a long time, and this visit was organized as a true visit. He emphasized that he came to feel the atmosphere in the area, talk with the residents of the mahalla, and see how they live.
He was especially impressed by the fact that he went to the mosque on Friday and prayed in a row with local Muslims. Also, his visit to the school and communication with children gave Kapadze new experience and great pleasure.
The head coach stated that it is still unknown whether he will start working here as a coach or not. But the main thing for him is to feel the culture of the people of Indonesia, their hospitality and sincerity. He said that during the 3-4 day visit, he intends to receive only positive energy, study the local environment, and draw important conclusions for himself.
