
Nodirbek Abdusattorov's winning streak continues at the prestigious "London Chess Classic 2025" tournament in London. In the 4th round, our compatriot defeated the experienced British grandmaster, the national champion, 54-year-old Michael Adams, and secured his third consecutive victory.
Abdusattorov started the competition very steadily:
- In the 1st round, Gavain finished the match against Maroroa Jones with a draw.
- In the 2nd round, the young talent defeated Abhimanyu Mishra.
- In the 3rd round, he achieved a beautiful victory over Russian Nikita Vityugov with a high positional advantage.
As a result of this series of successes, Nodirbek took the lead in the competition table, and today's victory further strengthened his leading position.

Michael Adams (FIDE rating - 2635) is a very experienced opponent with decades of elite experience. Despite this, Abdusattorov found the rhythm of the difficult round ahead of his opponent and achieved an important victory.
