Undav Breaks Klinsmann's Record

In the twelfth round of the German Championship, VfB Stuttgart traveled to face Hamburg and suffered a 2-1 defeat. Nevertheless, Deniz Undav scored Stuttgart's only goal, setting a new club record.

Undav scored his sixth consecutive goal in the championship for Stuttgart. In the previous matches, he netted twice against Augsburg and scored three goals against Borussia Dortmund.

Previously, no Stuttgart player had ever scored five or more consecutive goals in the German Championship. The last time such an achievement was recorded was in 1986 by Jürgen Klinsmann.

In the next round, Stuttgart will face Bayern Munich.
