Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick shared an update on the physical condition of one of the team's key players, Raphinha. According to the coach, the Brazilian midfielder is gradually recovering his form, but precautionary measures are still required.
Flick emphasized that the recent match against Atletico was particularly challenging for Raphinha:
"The situation with Raphinha is under control. He is recovering step by step, but at this time, we don’t want to put additional strain on him. The game against Atletico was tough for everyone, but especially demanding for his body," said the coach to the club’s press service.
This season, Raphinha has participated in 11 matches for Barcelona, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists. His performance continues to play a crucial role in the team’s offensive strategy.
The Brazilian player has a contract with the Catalan club until 2028. According to the Transfermarkt platform, his market value currently stands at 90 million euros, making him one of the most valuable midfielders in Europe.
