The renowned sports center of the United Arab Emirates - the city of Dubai - is currently hosting the men's World Championship. Each day brings a new dramatic moment, a new struggle, and new events. On the fourth day of the competition, three of our representatives entered the ring and competed honorably on behalf of the country.
Boltayev - Mukhanga battle: past events
Uzbek boxer Shavkatjon Boltayev in the -67 kg weight category had a very controversial and dramatic fight against Osorio Mukan, who represented Mozambique. The match started at a fierce pace from the very first minutes.
In the first round, the opponent took control of the situation, and the judges awarded points in his favor. However, in the second round, Boltayev demonstrated his strong technical skills and took the lead. The hall applauded him confidently, and the spirit of the struggle grew even stronger.
And the decisive - the third round - determined everything. The fight continued fiercely until the end, but the judges declared Osorio Mohanka the winner.
Next in line - Battle of Nortojiyev
The competition for boxing fans continues. There is another important challenge ahead: Khojanazar Nortojiyev will enter the ring against Sri Lankan representative Rukmal Podi. This match is also of great importance for the overall results of our national team.
