The Uzbekistan national team continues to achieve remarkable results at the ongoing Men's World Championship in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On the fourth day of the competition, seven of our athletes stepped into the ring, delivering joyful moments to the fans.
Among them, the fight of our young talent Shodiyorjon Meliqoziyev in the -48 kg weight category deserves special attention. He faced off against Anvarjon Khodjiyev, representing Kyrgyzstan, and secured a decisive victory with a clean 5-0 score. Shodiyorjon dominated every round, defeating his opponent with precise punches, quick movements, and excellent tactics.
With this success, our boxer advanced to the tournament's quarterfinals. His composure, fluid motions, and professional approach to the fight give our fans great hope for the upcoming stages of the competition.
