The decisive matches of the third round of the group stage of the Arab Cup are in full swing. Two important matches in Group B determined the qualifiers for the next stage of the competition and presented fans with an evening full of dramatic moments.
The Moroccan national team won the crucial match against Saudi Arabia with a minimal score. Having shown attacking play from the third minute, the Moroccans opened the scoring in the 11th minute with an accurate shot from Al Berkaoui. In the remaining minutes, Saudi Arabia launched several dangerous attacks but were unsuccessful. Overall, Saudi Arabia missed the opportunity for a penalty in the 69th minute - Al Hamdan's shot was saved by the Moroccan goalkeeper.
Thus, Morocco advanced to the quarterfinals as the leader of Group B with 7 points, while Saudi Arabia took second place with 6 points and qualified for the next stage.

The second meeting in the group - the match between Oman and the Qamar Islands - also stood out for its dramatic nature. The Oman side started strongly thanks to two goals from As Sabhi in the 30th and 43rd minutes. However, the Qamar Islands brought back the game's intrigue with a single goal from Hamidou in the 68th minute. Nevertheless, this result was not enough for Oman - they dropped out of the competition, remaining in 3rd place with 4 points.

As a result, the first pairs of the quarterfinals were determined. On December 11th, Morocco will face second-placed Syria in Group A. Saudi Arabia will face a serious challenge against that group's leader, Palestine.
The Arab Cup is in full swing in Qatar, and fans will undoubtedly witness even more fierce battles.
