London club Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus returned to the pitch for the first time in 322 days and spoke with journalists. The 28-year-old footballer came on as a substitute during the UEFA Champions League match against the Belgian club Club Brugge.
In this match, the Gunners secured a 3–0 victory. This was the Brazilian player's first game since January, as he had been unable to play due to an injury until now.
Jesus shared his thoughts: "I feel very ready. Everyone was waiting for me to score a goal, and of course, I wanted to score as well.
But I am very happy to finally be back and have the opportunity to play." On Saturday, Mikel Arteta's team will face Wolverhampton at home in the 16th round of the English Premier League.
