As you may know, the Men's World Championship in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is nearing its conclusion. Nine boxers from the Uzbekistan national team had reached the semifinals.
Nortojiyev's Honorable Journey Comes to an End
In the -57 kg weight category, our boxer Khojanazar Nortojiyev concluded his participation in the World Championship. In the semifinal match, he faced a strong opponent, Husravkhon Rahimov, from Tajikistan.
In a hard-fought bout, the judges unanimously decided 0:5 in favor of his opponent, leaving Nortojiyev without a chance to advance.
Result: Despite this loss, Khojanazar Nortojiyev secured a bronze medal for the Uzbekistan national team at the World Championship. Reaching the semifinals is a significant achievement and a testament to the athlete's dedication.
