Saudi Arabian club "Al-Nassr" striker Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, reacted to Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patrício's decision to retire from football at the age of 37. "Rui, thank you for everything!
Congratulations on your amazing career," Ronaldo wrote on social media. Rui Patrício is a product of the Lisbon-based "Sporting" academy.
Throughout his football career, he played for clubs such as "Roma," "Atalanta," "Wolverhampton," and "Al-Ain." Representing the Portuguese national team, Patrício appeared in 108 matches, conceding 89 goals.
He is a UEFA European Championship and Nations League winner.
