
A sad day for Italian football club "Lecce." A significant figure in the club's history, Carmelo Micheli, has passed away at the age of 67 due to a heart attack.
He spent his final moments on the road. Micheli appeared in 290 matches for "Lecce" during his career.
He played for the club in both Italy's Serie B and Serie A. In 1985, Micheli played a pivotal role in "Lecce's" historic first promotion to Serie A, the top division of Italian football.
