
Vitaliy Kafanov, the goalkeeping coach of the Russian national football team, evaluated the performance of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) goalkeeper Matvei Safonov during the away match against Metz (3-2). According to the coach, Safonov did everything he could in the episodes involving the two goals conceded and did not make a single mistake.
Kafanov stated that in this victory for the team, no one could dare blame Safonov for the goals conceded. After Lucas Chevalier's injury, the Russian goalkeeper has appeared in three consecutive matches for the Parisian club, conceding two goals.
