Tottenham's 22 points after 16 matches is their worst in 17 years
On Sunday, Tottenham disappointed their fans by losing 0-3 away to Nottingham Forest. Currently, the London club has amassed only 22 points from its first 16 matches in the English Premier League.

According to Opta data, the last time Tottenham collected fewer points after the first 16 games of the championship was in the 2008/2009 season. At that time, the team had 18 points after 16 matches and finished the season in eighth place.

Tottenham now sits in 11th place in the Premier League standings. The team, managed by Thomas Frank, will play their next match against Liverpool on December 20.
