Former Zenit St. Petersburg goalkeeper Dmitriy Brodin shared his thoughts on the performance of Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov, who currently plays for PSG. According to the expert, the opportunity given to Safonov is proving worthwhile, as he maintained clean sheets in the two matches he played.
Brodin emphasized the importance of trusting the goalkeeper and noted that if his performance is solid, there is no need to replace him. He also mentioned that he does not see a significant difference between Safonov and Lille's goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.
During the current season, Safonov has participated in three matches for the Parisian club and has conceded two goals. The 26-year-old goalkeeper joined PSG in the summer of last year.
