AC Milan Forward Santiago Giménez Faces Potential Surgery Risk


Milan's central forward Santiago Giménez is continuing treatment for an ankle injury sustained at the end of October. According to reliable insider Fabrizio Romano, the Mexican footballer might require surgery.

Giménez previously stated that he has been unable to play due to medical issues, a situation that has exacerbated his physical and emotional fatigue. The striker transferred to the Italian league in the winter of 2025 when Milan acquired him from Feyenoord.

In the Rossoneri squad, Giménez has played 37 matches across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.
