Federico Valverde Praises 19-Year-Old Valdepenas for Memorable Debut

On Sunday, defender Viktor Valdepenyas made his debut for Real Madrid. The 19-year-old left-back's first appearance came during a La Liga match against Alaves.

The young player started the game in the main squad and contributed to the "Los Blancos" 2-1 victory. After the match, team midfielder Federico Valverde highlighted the young player's performance.

"I congratulate Valdepenyas; he played excellently in his debut. We are very happy for him, and we hope that the youth from the academy will continue to get opportunities in the main team.

It’s always a pleasure to see their debuts at Real. Undoubtedly, it’s a dream for them.

We are always ready to provide them with the necessary support," Valverde said, as quoted by Madrid Universal. Real Madrid's head coach Xabi Alonso also positively evaluated Viktor Valdepenyas's performance.
