Argentina and Spain to Play Finalissima in 2026


Finalissima — the match between the reigning Copa América champion and the UEFA European champion — will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026. On this day, the national teams of Argentina and Spain will compete for the trophy.

The match was officially announced by CONMEBOL and UEFA. The game will be held in Qatar, with a kickoff time set for 9:00 PM local time.

The promotional poster features the star forwards of both teams – Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal. The last edition of Finalissima was held in 2022.

In that match, Argentina secured a 3-0 victory against Italy at Wembley Stadium.
