Former AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez has explained the reason behind his transfer. The French footballer, who now plays for Al-Hilal, left the Rossoneri in July this year to join a club in Saudi Arabia.
The 28-year-old player stated in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport that he had no intention of leaving: “I did not want to leave Milan. I was ready to stay, but when the management called and told me that if I didn’t leave, I would be removed from the squad, I had no other choice.
That’s why I was forced to look for a new club,” Hernandez said. Theo Hernandez played for Milan for six years.
The Serie A giant earned €25 million from the player’s transfer. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
