Moyes Accuses Referees of Bias in Match Against Arsenal

Everton head coach David Moyes harshly criticized refereeing following the club's match against London's Arsenal in the 17th round of the English Premier League. The match ended 1-0 in favor of the Gunners.

The only goal of the game was scored from a penalty kick. During the press conference, Moyes expressed his dissatisfaction with the referee’s decisions, stating that "the referee's whistle favored them [Arsenal] more."

He also referred to an incident involving Jake O'Brien raising his hand, describing it as a poor decision that complicated the situation. The coach called the penalty awarded against Everton "foolish" and noted that his team had played better than their opponents until that decision.

Following the defeat, Moyes' team remains in ninth place on the league table with 24 points. Meanwhile, Arsenal reclaimed the top spot thanks to their narrow victory.
