Tomori Says English Players Have Learned to Adapt to Italy

English defender Fikayo Tomori is challenging the stereotype that English footballers cannot succeed in Italy's Serie A. He has been playing for AC Milan for nearly five years.

«When I was younger, there was a stereotype that we, the English players, couldn’t play in Italy. But now, everything has changed, and we have learned to adapt.

In Italy, a lot of attention is given to tactics during training sessions, whereas in England, training sessions are much more physically intense,» Tomori told pianetamilan.it. Currently, AC Milan is in second place in the Serie A standings.

In their next game, the club will host Verona at home.
