Neres: We Must Improve Our Game in the Championship

Brazilian midfielder David Neres became the hero of the Italian Super Cup final by scoring two goals against Bologna, securing yet another trophy for his club. After the match, he shared his thoughts and feelings.

"Of course, I am happy: I scored a brace, but the overall victory is more important. We won the trophy.

Perhaps this will help us improve our performance in the league as well. We need to start that improvement from the next game against Cremonese," the Brazilian footballer was quoted as saying by calcionapoli1926.it.

As a reminder, Napoli has now won the Italian Super Cup for the third time, following victories in 1991 and 2014. Neres joined the Naples club in 2024.
