An official press conference was held at Qatar's Al Thuma Stadium ahead of the Al Ahli vs. Andijan match. The new head coach of the host team, Yunus Ali, and experienced player Ibrahim Diallo answered journalists' questions.
Yunus Ali emphasized the importance of the match, noting that the match against "Andijan" is one of the most important games in the group. According to him, the team has been thoroughly preparing for this particular match over the past two weeks. The coach said that "Al Ahli" will show their full potential on the field and want to demonstrate the team's capabilities before the fans.
At the same time, Yunus Ali expressed a positive opinion about the "Andijan" team. The coach emphasized that a difficult match awaits the hosts today, requiring them to play with all their might.
Speaking in the second part of the press conference, Ibrahim Diallo also noted that the meeting will not be easy. He says that a large break in the middle of the season can create certain difficulties for the team. This is because Al Ahli hasn't played an official match for two weeks. Therefore, it is important to quickly find rhythm in the field.
Diallo considered the appointment of a new coach a natural process in football. In his opinion, this situation could be a new breath for the team. The player noted that the atmosphere within the team was good, the players warmly welcomed the new head coach, and the match was prepared as well as possible.
Answering journalists' questions about Andijan's playing style, Yunus Ali openly mentioned the opponent's strengths. According to him, "Andijan" moves orderly on the field, pays great attention to team play, and strives to effectively use standard situations. In this respect, they are considered a dangerous opponent. The hosts' headquarters worked on neutralizing these very strengths.
The circumstances related to the composition were also clarified. Yunus Ali stated that there were no injured players on the team and that the last training session was in high spirits. According to him, "Al Ahli" will enter today's match with a full squad and maximum preparation.
