Carragher: Liverpool need two more signings for a top-four finish
Former England and Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes the Merseysiders must strengthen their squad in the January transfer window to secure a top-four Premier League finish. “If Liverpool don’t add another striker and a centre-back, it will be difficult for the team to end the season in the Premier League’s top four,” The Telegraph quoted the pundit as saying.

After 17 Premier League rounds, Arne Slot’s side have collected 29 points and sit fourth in the table. Liverpool’s next league match will be at Anfield against Wolverhampton.

The match will take place on Saturday, 27 December.
