Manchester City, who are fighting for the Premier League title this season, are looking to further strengthen their attack. The Manchester club plan to sign Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo, who has been performing effectively for Bournemouth, during the winter transfer window.
If the move goes through, competition in the Citizens’ squad will become even tougher. This could lead to the departure of talented young player Oscar Bobb, who is already getting limited minutes in the starting lineup.
According to Talksport, the arrival of the 25-year-old Semenyo in Manchester would further limit Bobb’s opportunities on the pitch. For this reason, the club’s management are also considering letting the 22-year-old Norwegian winger leave on loan or via a permanent transfer.
At the moment, two Premier League clubs — Crystal Palace and Fulham — are showing serious interest in Oscar Bobb. Both sides are said to be ready to provide the youngster with regular playing time.
According to Transfermarkt, Oscar Bobb’s current market value is estimated at €25 million. This season he has made 15 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s team, registering one assist.
