Stuttgart snatch late win over Eintracht

The final matchday of the first half of the German Bundesliga kicked off with one of the headline clashes: Stuttgart, battling for the top spots, hosted Eintracht at home. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The game started with an early goal. In the 5th minute, the visitors made the most of a corner: Ritsu Doan delivered the cross and Rasmus Kristensen headed home to open the scoring (0–1). Midway through the first half, Stuttgart hit back: after Kaua Santos parried a pass, Ermedin Demirovic reacted first and tucked the ball into the net (1–1). Eight minutes later, Deniz Undav’s shot took a deflection on its way, wrong-footing the goalkeeper and putting the hosts in front (2–1).
In the second half, Eintracht increased the pressure. Ansgar Knauff’s volley struck the crossbar. In the 80th minute, the visitors finally equalised: Ayube Amaimouni-Echghouyab’s effort made it 2–2. But the Swabians had the last word: Josha Vagnoman sparked the move, and Nicolas Nartey finished clinically into the unguarded part of the goal to hand Stuttgart the win (3–2).
As a result, Stuttgart strengthened their hold on 3rd place with 32 points. Eintracht remain 7th with 26 points.
