Real midfielder Jude Bellingham has responded to rumors claiming he was among the players who did not support the club’s former head coach Xabi Alonso after his dismissal. In a social media post, Bellingham addressed the topic directly and noted that he had ignored many such reports until now.
“Up to now I’ve turned a blind eye to many of these reports because I hoped the truth would eventually shine through. But seriously... What nonsense. I feel sorry for anyone who believes every word from these people and their ‘sources’. Don’t believe everything you read, because sometimes these individuals spread harmful and false information just to stir debate and arguments. They should be held accountable for that,” Bellingham wrote.
After Xabi Alonso’s dismissal, Alvaro Arbeloa was appointed as Real’s new head coach. Bellingham’s pointed remarks and talk about the club’s internal processes sparked fresh debates and questions among fans.
