Our compatriot Ruslan Abdullayev, competing in the super lightweight division (63.5 kg) in professional boxing, held his next fight in the United States. This time he stepped into the ring in California at a boxing night organized by Golden Boy Promotions and once again delighted the fans.
The glove master faced Uruguayan Eduardo Javier Abreu. The bout was scheduled for 8 rounds, and the most decisive moment came in the 5th: Abdullayev dropped his opponent with a precise, powerful shot, instantly “igniting” the arena atmosphere.
Fortunately, Abreu managed to get back up, but he could not withstand the follow-up barrage. Ruslan’s pressure, speed, and consistent attacking rhythm put his opponent in an even tougher spot.
As a result, Abdullayev also won his fourth professional bout, extending his winning streak. This success in California could further boost our compatriot’s confidence on the international stage and open the door to bigger opponents and high-profile fights.
