Pakhtakor begin Antalya camp: 26-player squad confirmed

Pakhtakor left for Antalya early in the morning on January 17 to hold the first stage of preparations for the new season in Turkey. The training camp is scheduled to run until January 30, during which the “Lions” will play three friendly matches.
According to the club, the main focus at this stage is on building proper physical conditioning, regaining match rhythm faster, and testing tactical ideas in practice. In short, every session in Antalya is meant to get the team’s “engine” running before the season kicks off.
However, the camp will not be held with a full squad. Vladimir Nazarov, Mahmud Mahammadjonov, Ibrohim Ibragimov, Oybek Bozorov and Rustam Turdimurodov will miss the first Antalya camp due to their involvement with the national team. Flamarion is also expected to join the team later because of an injury.
Head coach Kamoliddin Tojiyev has selected 26 players for this camp. The task for everyone on the list is simple: to treat the camp not as a box-ticking exercise, but as a chance for real competition and match fitness. Because even if the games are called “friendlies,” the conclusions drawn from them are effectively the foundation of the season.
